Sri Jayaprabha Exports is a family-owned garment proprietorship registered in Tamil Nadu, India. It is run end-to-end by Dr. V. Rangasamy, MD — who has spent nearly three decades inside Tirupur's garment and knitwear quarter.

Dr. V. Rangasamy, MD, began his career inside Tirupur's export cluster in the 1990s — learning every step of the supply chain from fabric sourcing and cutting floors to grading, quality control and FOB dispatch. By 1997 he had built the relationships and floor knowledge required to run a tighter, more consistent operation of his own, and opened Sri Jayaprabha Exports at Thiruneelakandapuram, Tirupur.
Today the proprietor still walks the floor every working day, personally reviews samples at every approval stage, and reads every RFQ that arrives at rangasamy@jayaprabha.com. The house remains deliberately focused — single proprietor, family supervision, trained operators — so the standard never drifts.
Dr. V. Rangasamy begins working inside Tirupur's garment export cluster — learning fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing supervision, and quality control across multiple production houses.
The proprietorship is established at No-9, Kumaran Street, Thiruneelakandapuram, Tirupur — a deliberately focused operation, run as a family house, with Dr. Rangasamy on the floor every day.
The house builds its core competency in baby and kids knitwear — rompers, bodysuits, sets, hoodies — establishing long-term relationships with international buyers and sourcing agents.
The product range expands to women's knitwear and home textiles — towels, bed linen, kitchen textiles — serving hospitality and retail buyers alongside the original apparel lines.
Sri Jayaprabha ships across four product verticals — baby garments, kids garments, women's apparel, and home textiles — every consignment passing through hands Dr. Rangasamy has personally trained.
Plate · Tirupur production cluster
Tirupur accounts for over 50% of India's knitwear exports. The city's concentration of spinning mills, knitting units, dyeing houses, and export packers within a 30-km radius makes it the most efficient knitwear production hub in South Asia.
The reason is the infrastructure and the knowledge base. Tirupur has spent three generations building an ecosystem where a buyer's tech pack moves to finished garments faster than anywhere else on the subcontinent. Sri Jayaprabha has worked inside this system since 1997, and the supplier relationships built over those decades are part of what you're buying.
Plate · Sewing floor, Tirupur
Tirupur's garment industry is one of Tamil Nadu's largest sources of industrial employment, with a substantial share of women in the trained workforce. Sri Jayaprabha's production floor reflects that — operators trained to the house standard, not rotated through as temporary labour.
Consistent employment, fair piece-rate structures, and the proprietor's daily presence on the floor are what keep quality consistent across seasons and buyer requirements.
